Veterinary:

Uses include disinfection of animal equipment, cages, treatment areas, counters, sinks. Tests at an independent lab showed that Bleach-Rite® kills Canine Parvovirus and Feline Panleukopenia virus in two minutes against these animal-borne viruses (in accordance with their manufacturers' specifications).

Simplify Inspections:

If labs / hospitals mix bleach in-house it must be mixed daily since the bleach loses potency in 24 hours; managers have to monitor the dates mixed and make the data available for inspections. With Bleach-Rite®, inspections are smoother and manager oversight is not required as Bleach-Rite® contains stabilized bleach with an 18-month shelf life and expiration date on each bottle.

Save Staff Time and Lower Risk:

With Bleach-Rite® Spray, valuable lab employees don’t spend time mixing bleach and instead focus on critical tasks. The lab benefits because risk is reduced and safety improved. Why? If lab staff forgets to mix concentrated bleach daily, or if the concentrated bleach is not strong enough so that the 1:10 dilution is weaker than 0.525%, lab staff using those bottles do not achieve disinfection throughout the lab. Since Bleach-Rite® Spray is pre-diluted at the 1:10 concentration, it achieves disinfection when used according to the label directions.

Ebola Virus Disinfection Guidance:

Ebola is caused by the Ebola virus. Efficacy Against C. Difficile Spores:

Bleach-Rite® Disinfecting Spray with Bleach killed C. Difficile Spores in four minutes in the presence of a 3-part organic soil load in testing at an independent lab. This newer testing method (in the presence of 3-part organic soil load) required Bleach-Rite® to produce a 6-log reduction of C. Difficile Spores in the presence of 3 different protein components (serum, mucin and yeast extract). To clean / disinfect against C. Difficile Spores, pre-cleaning is required for all disinfectants.

Toxicity:

Independent lab tests for reaction to Bleach-Rite® (e.g. if the bleach solution was ingested orally, on skin, in eyes, inhaled) showed minimal impact, meeting the criteria of Toxicity Category IV by all routes of exposure and is not required to bear a signal word.

Precautions:

Physical and Chemical Hazards: Do not use this product with ammonia, acids (such as vinegar), rust removers, toilet bowl cleaners, or heavy metals such as copper and iron. Will corrode aluminum. For stainless steel equipment / surfaces, follow equipment manufacturers’ directions for disinfecting / rinsing to prevent corrosion. This product is not intended for use on fabrics; may discolor clothing.

No Further Irradiation / Processing:
